Astronauts
Astronaut is a scientific name given to a person who is trained, equipped and developed by a human spaceflight programmed. This person is responsible to serve as a crew member or commander aboard a spacecraft. However, the term “Astronaut” is reserved for professional space travelers but some time it is also applied for those who travels space including scientists, politicians, journalists and tourists.

Cosmonauts – Astronaut employed by the Russian Federal Space Agency is known as cosmonaut.
Parastronaut – 2022 European Space Agency Astronaut Group is a team of latest European astronaut corps. ESAAG Is recruiting an astronaut with physical disability and an astronaut with physical disability is called Parastronaut.
Yuri Gagarin the first man into space
Yuri Alekseyevich Gagarin was born on 9th March 1934 and died on 27 March 1968. Yuri was the first man who travelled first time into the outer space. Yuri Gagarin was a soviet pilot and cosmonaut. Cosmonaut are astronauts who are are employed by RFSA (Russian Federal Space Agency). Vostok 1 was the space flight and it was the first human orbital space flight in history. Yuri completed one orbit of earth on 12th April 1961 by travelling in the Vostok 1 capsule. He spent 1 hour 48 minutes in space.
Gagarin completed this major milestone during the the space race. In 20th century space race was the competition between two powers United States and Soviet Union. The competition was all about to achieve superior space flight capability and enhance research on the space. When Gagarin completed one orbit of Earth he became International star overnight and awarded with many awards including hero of the Soviet the highest pride of his Nation.
Yuri Gagarin was born in a village called Klushino located in Russia. He was a foundryman at a steel plant in Lyubertsy in his youth. Later he joined the Soviet Air Force as a pilot and posted at Luostari air Base.
