On July 3rd 1958 Eisenhower signed the National Aeronautics and space act to establish world’s most successful research centre.
NASA
Before going through the directors, mission and budget let’s understand what is NASA in simple words. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration works as an independent agency belong to the U.S. Fedral Government. The world famous agency is responsible for civil space program, aeronautics research and space research.
NASA is well known for leding American space exploration and the agency also supports the International Space stations. Aim of Nasa scientist is to focus on earth observing system to understand deeply about the earth. Science Mission Directorates Heliophysics Research Program is for advancing heliophysics (science of sun).
Space Exploration
NASA has performed most American space exploration. Space exploration meaning use of astronomy and space technology to explore outer space.
Project Mercury
Project Gemini
Apollo moon landing mission
Skylap space station
Space shuttle
NASA Headquarters
NASA is research agency and it’s administrative headquarter is located in Washington, DC. The head quarters are officially known as Mary W. Jackson NASA headquarter and formely called two Independence Square. It is a low rise office building.
NASA headquarter address – Two building independence square complex at 300 E street SW, Washington, DC.
Budget NASA
NASA budget requests are approved by the administration and sent to the US congress through a proper channel. The budget is first presented to administration for approval before U.S congress.

2022 | $24.802 | $24.041 |
Organisations
NASA funding and priorities are developed through it’s directorates and there are six directorates responsible for the same. Robert A. Pearce looks Aeronautics Research (ARMD), James Free is responsible for Exploration system development (ESDMD). American engineer Kathy Lueders is responsible for space operations (SOMD), Swiss American astrologist Thomas Zurbuchen looks into science (SMD) matters. James L. Reuter and Robert Gibbs are responsible for space technology (STMD) and mission support (MSD).
American scientist Robert Goddard
Robert Hutchings Goddard was born on 5 october, 1882 in Worcester, Massachusetts. Robot daddy’s name is Nahum Danford Goddard and his Fanni Lousie Hoyt was his mother. Nahum Danford Invented Mani tools during his work at manufacturer. Robert was an American engineer, professor, inventor and physicist.
He created world’s first liquid fueled rocket, Robert successfully launched his created rocket on March 16, 1926. It was the beginning of an era of spaceflight and innovation. In between 1926 to 1941 Goddard and his team launched 34 rockets achieving 2.6 km (1.6 mi) high altitude and speed as fast as 885km/h (550 mph).
Robert Goddard Became interested in space after reading a book “The war of the worlds” at the age of 16 year only. This science fiction book was written by H.G Wells a fantastic writer who inspired the person who built worlds first liquid fueled rocket.
