Why sun is hot facts and myths

Why sun is hot facts and myths are discussed here. Don’t assume read the real facts behind the sun hot reason.

Do you know why sun is hot or why sun is very hot? This question often raises curiosity to the next level. People often search on google, bing  that why sun is hot and moon is cool,  today we will learn about the temperature of sun and reason behind hotness of sun.

Why is the sun very hot body

It is obvious that if sun is hot then it will throw hot sun lights. Sun temperature is extremely hot. There is so much pressure in the core of sun and the core of sun is very hot nuclear fusion takes place there and hydrogen is changed to helium. Nuclear fusion creates heat and light (photons).

To understand why sun is hot  first you need to understand about the sun surface. The surface of sun is 6000 Kelvin and 6000 kelvin = 10,340 degrees fahrenheit (5,726°C). The solar system produces enough amount of heat and light that is good enough for brightening the earth days and keeping the earth planet warm enough so that human beings, animals, plants, creatures etc can survive easily on the earth.

While answering why we need heat and light the answer is simple for survival, human being needs heat and light consistently and constantly. Now, if I will ask why the sun needs heat and light the answer is the same sun also needs heat and light for survival. In simple words hotness is the nature of sun.

Why sun is hot facts and myths

People often thinks why sun is hot and specially kids used to think why sun is very hot? They usually search on search engine web browsers like bing, opera, google, duckduckgo, torch, bat etc. On the internet various and different types of reasons are given about the brightness of the sun and people often get confused and starts assuming their own answers. To clarify the exact reason behind the hotness of the sun I am giving the fact and the most close myth on sun’s hotness below.

Myth – Energy undone due to the collision of multiplication of billions and billions of hydrogen and helium atoms. It also looks very straightforward mechanics that particles collide and undone a somewhat amount of heat energy. Due to the collision and the addition of billions of collisions in multiplication, and this happens every second makes the sun hot.

Facts – Actually, the sun is hot because of its hulking weight. Sun weight creates gravitational force towards the sun core resulting in increase in pressure. The increased pressure actually increases the temperature of the sun.

SUN science

The sun is the star situated at the center of the solar system. Sun is like a ball of hot plasma  and plasma is one of the four fundamental states of matter. Solid liquid gas and plasma are the four states of matter which are observable in everyday life.

Sun radius – The radius of sun is about 695,000 km (432,000 miles) and its mass is about 330,000 times that of Earth.

Three quarters of the sun’s mass consists of – Hydrogen 73%, Helium 25%. Small quantities of heavier elements: Oxygen, carbon, neon and iron.
